Q&A: Can I travel to Morocco on an Israeli passport?

Question by Aryeh Stein: Can I travel to Morocco on an Israeli passport?
I am not trying to be political at all with this question. A friend of mine and her husband reside in Rabat and I was invited to visit them. The fact is that many Arab countries don’t allow Israelis to visit and I can’t seem to find any deffinitive information on if Morocco is one of them or not. I know there used to be an Israeli foreign office in the country that was closed in 2000 so I’m not sure what to do. Can anyone help me?

You will need to get a visa in order to travel to Morocco. The easiest way to get it is to travel to Spain (Israeli passport holders are visa exempted for 90 days) and apply for the visa at the Moroccan Embassy or one of the Consulate Generals in the country.
