8 Ways To Have Business Success Using Audio

One of the best ways to shine a light on creating relationship with your marketing is by using audio on your website and in your Ezine. It’s so simple and easy to use I’m not sure why more business owners don’t use audio. Here you’ll be discovering easy audio tips, to create more marketing success.

Upon releasing my VIP coaching program, several people on my list ‘raised their hands’ to tell me they were interested in the program and to send them an application. Well, out went the applications. Several wrote back telling me the mastermind, coaching and accountability sounded great and they’d be sending the filled-out applications right back. A few days went by and two trickled in. Where were the rest of the applications? I knew my potential clients just needed a little nudge.

Normally I’d send out an email with a terrific message and would receive a favorable response and more applications but not this time. This time I wanted more of a personal message. One that spoke from my heart to theirs. Whether they registered for the program or not, there was still relationship to build.

So, I whipped up a quick 5 minute audio and spoke to them just as if they were sitting across the kitchen table from me. The audio went out with a quick short Ezine note. The note had some terrific educational information for them with an invitation to get more information on the audio. The audio went into more detail and was a quick 5-minute message. The results? Even though I’d imagined a great return, using audio this way gave me a better than I had even imagined. Many people came back with more questions, so a 15-minute consult was scheduled. By being in service to your prospective clients, it’s amazing what terrific relationships can be built. Not to mention I had more people sign up for my offering!

That’s just one way of having audio help warm up your rapport, grow a relationship and your business at the same time. Let me give you a few more tips on using this marketing strategy tool.

Audio Tip #1 — Use an audio as a follow up tool when you’re promoting one of your programs.

Audio Tip # 2 — Put up a short audio greeting on your web site or squeeze page. This gives your visitor a better sense of who you are as a person (I’ve found audio helps to get more opt-ins too).

Audio Tip #3 — Instead of giving a written free report, give your visitors a free audio. It’s a warmer more personal touch.

Audio Tip #4 — A radio personality interviewed me and I have that captured on audio. People love bonuses and you can use an audio you’ve created to use as a bonus. I’ll be using this as a promotional bonus.

Audio Tip #5 — I’m creating an audio testimonial for someone’s services I’ve used.

Audio Tip #6 — Use an audio for a series of lessons rather than the regular written auto responder.

Audio Tip #7 — Create a series of lessons combining a written auto responder and audio.

Audio Tip #8 — Use an audio to record your teleseminars and then you can convert these into products (audios can put money in the bank).

I’ve been using Audio Acrobat because it’s been the simplest and easiest system I’ve found. Plus their ‘quick as a blink’ customer service is consistent with desire to really help you grow your business.

All of what I’ve been speaking of, is reaching out to your prospects and clients by opening the door and letting them know you on a different level. By using audio, you’ll amplify your marketing impact, create a personal connection, and in turn encourage customers to hire you. So, the bottom line? You’ll get more new clients, make more money and experience having more time while the audio will be the workhorse for you.

7 Ways to Succeed as a Leader in a 24/7 World

7 Ways to Succeed as a Leader in a 24/7 World

Blackberries and Wifi and blogs (oh my!). And your list likely goes on – email, IM’s, forwarding your phone number, wireless everything and 24 hour news channels. While it might be trite, we truly live in a 24/7 world.

Many of us didn’t grow up in a world quite like it is now – with the plethora of options for being connected, getting information and communicating. It wasn’t that many years ago when email and cell phones were new. Now a cell phone that connects to your email is old news!

The challenges of a 24/7 world are many, but as a leader there are four that are especially important to consider – both as an individual and in your role as a leader.

•    We have the option of always being connected.
•    We are awash in information.
•    We have too many sources of information to choose from.
•    Many people are increasingly addicted to all of it.

One crucial step to thriving in any situation is to identify and understand the challenges you face, and then identify ways to overcome, benefit from or eliminate those challenges. The ideas that follow are meant to help you do all three of these things.

Your Seven Ideas

Remember that these ideas about thriving, not merely surviving. This may mean that one or more of them is a bit more radical than you have considered or even think prudent. While you have to use your own judgment, I encourage you to do more than consider these ideas – but actually try them!

•    Manage your expectations of yourself. How much time do you want/need/have to be a connected info-holic? (Please note that these are three different questions – ask yourself all of them). Consider your answers carefully, and then make choices about your own expectations of yourself in an informed way.
•    Manage your expectations of others. As a leader you may choose to be connected and/or be on your computer at all times of the day or night. Unless you have a conversation with your team, they likely will begin to model your behavior. Maybe you choose to do email or send links to ideas you find at an odd hour, that’s fine, but you need to explicitly tell others what your expectations are for them. Let them know that “just because I’m online at 5 am doesn’t mean you need to be” or whatever is appropriate in your situation.
•    Turn off Tuesday afternoons. Face-to-face communication and the phone are amazing communication tools, and sometimes you will get more creative work done if the TV or web browser or email inbox is closed for awhile. Whether you pick Tuesday afternoons, Friday mornings, or whatever, consider a time during the work week when you disconnect from your toys and tools – and if you are a leader to have others do it as well. Personal experience and a variety of organizational experiments show that productivity may go up dramatically during these times.
•    Find information sources and tools that work for you. Focus primarily on the tools that work for you. Use them appropriately and focus your attention on them.
•    Turn off at night. At least one night a week (preferably more often) turn off the cell phone and don’t open the computer. If you find yourself lost without the computer open, you need this advice the most. If you really want to be reading and/or learning, open a book. Encourage your team to do this too – especially if you find yourself getting messages from them at all hours of the night.
•    Chill out and think. This idea addresses all four challenges mentioned above. If you remember what it was like before Web 2.0, interactive cell phones and more, you know that you could still get real work done. If you don’t remember or weren’t alive yet, trust me, you can get real work done. This idea is to just relax a little bit. When you are disconnected and unplugged be good with that. You don’t have to have your Bluetooth headset on during dinner, and you don’t have to take (or make) a phone call while in a public (or private) restroom. Relax a little. Use your disconnected time to think, rather than react to your technology.
•    You can’t do everything (so don’t try). Even if you are really wired to technology, and even if you love it, know that you can’t know everything about everything, because everything is so much bigger than it used to be. There will always be one more video site, cell phone option, all news blog or website. Be OK with that and refer back to idea #4.

A final note. A smart friend of mine called as I was writing this article and reminded me that some leaders are on the other end of this spectrum – either anti-technology or at least not challenged by these issues. If this is you, you need to recognize that many of your team could use the ideas above. And maybe you need to be a little more open minded to learn some of the benefits they are gaining in this 24/7 connected world – without falling into the their traps.

Potential Pointer: The communication and information options that are available to you in our 24/7 world are amazing! Always remember those options are tools designed to serve your needs, not make you a slave to them.

Easy Ways of Learning Arabic Vocabulary

Easy Ways of Learning Arabic Vocabulary

One of the easiest ways of learning Arabic vocabulary is to use pictures with the Arabic words written underneath the picture. Now this is not much help if you do not have a grasp of the Arabic alphabet, but once you take beginner lessons in the language, you will start to use very basic vocabulary. By seeing the pictures, you will be able to equate the word with the picture so that you can translate the word into your own language in your mind. You can also use a notebook to create lists of your own based on these pictures which you can review at any time.

In addition to seeing pictures associated with vocabulary in Arabic, you also need to know how to pronounce these words. If you attend an actual class, the instructor will help you with the pronunciation. You can also have this same help when you take an online course in Arabic when you choose a course that has a listening component. In many of these courses, you can click on the picture to hear the word spoken by a native Arabic speaker. This is an essential part of learning the vocabulary of the language because it is not enough just to be able to read the word. You must be able to say the word and understand it when you hear it.

Playing games with vocabulary will also help you learn the words much faster than if you simply memorize them. When you play a game, such as a memory or matching game, you will have fun and learn at the same time. In fact you may not even realize how much you are actually learning until you play the same game again and you know most of the vocabulary words.

Learning through songs is also an enjoyable method of learning vocabulary in Arabic. There is an alphabet song that will help you learn the alphabet as well as short rhymes and songs that children sing. The tunes are catchy, which makes them easy to remember.

You should not try to rush learning the vocabulary. Even the native speakers will tell you that there is an enormous number of words in this language and that even they probably do not know them all. Give yourself lots of time and when you become frustrated, go back and review previously learned material or play a game so that you vary your lesson structure. You should not let trying to learn as much vocabulary as you can consume you because then you will miss out on learning other important concepts. Above all, be prepared to make mistakes and learn from them.

If you have an Arab speaking friend or colleague, this is an excellent opportunity to increase your knowledge of the language. You could try to learn a certain number of words each day and you have an excellent resource at your fingertips to help you with the correct pronunciation. If you do not have this type of resource available to you, watch programs on TV in Arabic and see if you can pick out some of the words that you have learned.

4 Ways Music Can Benefit Healing and Reduce Pain

4 Ways Music Can Benefit Healing and Reduce Pain

Music has been a bridge connecting people of all religions, races and cultures.  It fosters well-being, gives joy, and researchers have documented the physical and psychological benefits of listening to music.

Music is commonly used in medical therapy to promote wellness, manage stress, alleviate pain, express feelings, enhance memory, improve communication, and promote physical rehabilitation.

Music can also help heal one’s spirit by connecting listeners with consciousness…a place within the heart where one’s contemplative nature is activated.

Healing is how many listeners are describing a new CD, ‘Sacred Love’ from Shambhu who crafted his music as an expression of beauty.

“Creating a heartfelt feeling of love was fundamental to composing and performing the music of Sacred Love,” said Shambhu. “If people can feel love in music, then this can nurture them into a more productive, healing space.”

“Tremendous tenderness and love has gone into the making of this CD,” said music reviewer and industry veteran Bette Timm.

D. Brian A. Aberger, D.C., says, “As a health care professional, I would truly recommend this CD to any of my patients or friends that just want to unwind and escape.  It is indeed just what the doctor ordered.”

Here are 4 Key Benefits of Healing Music.

The sound of healing music can calm brainwave activity and lift up one’s soulful presence. Countless studies prove that music impacts brainwave activity and can have a calming effect. Sacred Love composer and guitarist Shambhu has created music like a meditation…the notes are a magic carpet ride into deeper consciousness and personal presence.  “It is open, spacious music with room for personal reflection,” adds Shambhu.

Music can engender calmness and lower your blood pressure. A number of studies show that music therapy in medical treatment can reduce pain.  In a 2001 study on burn patients, researchers found that music therapy significantly reduced their excruciating pain. Colonoscopy patients felt less pain and need fewer sedative drugs if they listen to music during the procedure, according to several studies.

Music can alter a person’s heart and breathing rates

When you listen to music, in addition to the brainwaves getting altered, you heart rate and pulse rate also are affected. Relaxation can be as easy as a listening to a slow piece of music, like the sublime Indian raga feel in the song, Humility, on Sacred Love, and encouraging the body to slow down.

Certain sound frequencies can dissolve blocks

Do you remember the commercial of the opera singer shattering a glass with her own voice? In a situation in which the voice of the singer is quite consistent with that of the glass, this happens. This is the same principle behind such ultrasound devices as those that detect things like kidney stones. Kidney stones can be broken up by ultrasound waves and eliminated with urine, providing an alternative to invasive surgical procedures.

Music has many benefits and uses for personal healing and in the medical world. Integrating music like Shambhu’s Sacred Love into a healing regimen can benefit people who suffer from a wide assortment of ailments and conditions.

Current practice in music teaching favors a practical and a hands-on approach in emphasizing performance and composition. The use of recorded music as a teaching resource has tended to take a back seat. However, recordings are the predominant vehicle of musical experience today. As the students are expert listeners to recorded sound, major developments in the access to and presentation of recorded music are opening up new educational possibilities to most of them.

When a classroom setting has a relaxed atmosphere, informal learning may take place yet anxiety, tension and pressure would neither rule the learning situation. Hence, when there is relaxed supervision with no teachers behind the desk, the students would be more eager and interested to learn music. Students may also work in groups – giving them more chances of friendship and peer support. In this case, cooperative learning is found effective. The music teacher may encourage the students choose various musical instruments of their choice and eventually master such.

After they finish recording, they may organize or set-up a short play or a mini-concert to show their rendition of songs and other performances. These activities can heighten the learning process as they get too excited in meeting their objectives and getting high grades. These can also help them boost enough self-confidence and self-esteem. How to Download Music Online – 2 Ways Explored

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

In todayâ??s context, you have two choices when you wish to download music online. One way is to do it by downloading your music files from legal music sites. The other is to download music from online file sharing programs. We will take a look at what benefits you can gain from using a legal music download site compared to using a file sharing program to download music online. We will also be talking more about the advantages and disadvantages of each method. This article is meant to give you informational knowledge so that you may know where to satisfy your music download needs.

Legal Music Download Sites

Such sites offer you the benefit to download music online in piece meal. In other words, you only need to pay for what you download. Say you only like a song in the entire album, by all means just download that track and pay for it instead of paying for the whole album.

Nowadays, with so much competition going on, the quality of service at such music download sites is high. The music quality is top class and prices are diving fast. In fact, recently, some have come up with a subscription-based membership model. For a fee, you can either obtain a monthly, yearly or lifetime membership to download music online from these sites. The variety and genre of music offered is surprisingly huge as well. It is quite amazing to find millions of music MP3s available for download.

File Sharing Program Sites

Such sites are better known as free P2P or Peer to Peer programs. It is controversial to download music online from P2P sites. There are always two sides to a coin. While some argue that it is illegal to download music MP3s there, it is also arguable that some of these files do not carry any copyrights and therefore is legal for sharing. The music you download from these sites are free.

But these sites are without problems. Since they are free, there are many people who download music online from them. The download speeds can be slowed down when the load is heavy. At the same time, your computer may not be protected at all from attacks of malware such as adware, spyware and viruses that can damage your computer infrastructure.

So before you decide how and where you want to download your music files, weigh the options carefully. You would more likely go with the first option. Find out where you can download music online for dimes at my music blog.

Innovetive Ways of Discovering South Africa With Pancras Malani

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

If we accept that tourism sector is to become the biggest employer in the world, we must respect and accept the wishes of our tourists.

Tourists take a decision to pay their hard earned money to go on vacation, on business trips or simply for philanthropic reasons. It is therefore very important for all people who directly or indirectly benefit from the movement of tourists to accept that tourists are the deciders on the organization and execution of their holiday activities.

Today’s tourist is very much informed on what to see and experience at a particular destination and it is these information that push someone to go to A place before B or keep on coming back to a place where the experience overpassed expectation.

Traditionally speaking, a touirist is driven like a cart, having done nothing in the preparation of their hilidays and they are often disappointed when they arrive at the dream of their destination.

In order to minimize the comfrotation between tourists and the operators representatives, i came up with the solution to start a tour company That i called AMIS TOURS, meaning “friends tours”. I always take my tourists as my friends and we all know that we offer our friends and recieve from them the best gifts. AMIS TOURS will always place any tourist at the drawing up of their holidays. My job will be the facilitation not to impose them what to see. Some of itineraries are outdated and don’t go with seasonality of the area to be visited. You can’t for example send people to view whales in Summer in South Africa. People should be consulted fully explained about what they can see and what is impossible. With AMIS TOURS It is no longer a question of filling a day’s excursion but rather offering what meets expectation. I sit down and discuss with my employers (my tourists).

In addition to the consultation process, my tourists have option and right to stay with me rather that staying in expensive hotels. I want them to discover the way normal and simple people live. If they can’t all fit into my house, they will stay at  my close relatives and friends. There is a saying in Kinyarwanda that “where people aren’t stingy, six people can fit on a rubbit skin”. I will never deprive though the wish of friends who need another type of accommodation and meals. they will eat out if they want, they will sleep in a five star facility  they can but whatever choice thay make, i will extensively consult with them before taking their decision, i will consult with them when they come over and i will respect their wishes. Obviously, i will never handle a big group in order to keep up with my promise and commitment.

With my new approach to touring, anyone who wish to visit South Africa and Southern Africa as a whole can afford it and do it their way not operators way.

Come and get the value for your money, come and support your friend Pancars Malani in Cape Town who has been a French and English guide for 8 good years and who is committed to taking tourism to another level. Write to me “mypathtosouth@yahoo.com” call me on?0027834238225 and alternatively come to see me in Cape Town.

Stress Relief Music: Discover the Amazing Ways it Promotes Relaxation

Saturday, July 31st, 2010

Stress relief music has a profound effect on our minds and bodies. Listening to soothing music can ease physical tension and mental anxiety, slow breathing and heartbeat and lower blood pressure. The accompanying relaxed state is highly beneficial to health and well-being.

It is not a mystery that music influences our emotions and state of mind. The fact that music has such a strong impact on us is usually taken for granted. We tend not to think about it. We just know it does.

Exactly how does stress relief music bring about relaxation? The answers may be surprising.

· Slows heart rate and breathing – When you listen to a piece of music you are fond of, your mood immediately changes. When hearing such a song, do you find yourself excitedly saying, “Oh, I love that song”! What happens when you hear a peaceful, slow song that is soothing to you? You relax, tension slides from your body and your mind quiets. This occurs because stress relief music slows heart rate and breathing. As long as beat of the music is slow and steady, your heart rate and breathing will relax into the musical piece.

· Influences brain waves – In a relaxed state, brain wave frequency is alpha. Listening to stress relief music actually influences our brain function by changing brain wave frequency. During times of stress, brain waves are beta or theta which are higher frequency. The brain actually moves toward the frequency it is experiencing. If you listen to relaxing music, especially if it is intertwined with binaural alpha tones, anxiety will ease and tension will be released.

· Lowers stress hormones – Stress relief music is being used more and more by doctors and practitioners. Studies have found when patients listen to their favorite music during a procedure, they have lowered stress hormones in their bloodstreams. The reason is music relaxes the body and calms anxiety. Many dentists use music to ease the pain and anxiety of their patients. Massage therapists, reiki practitioners, acupuncturists and hypnotists use music to aid relaxation and healing of their patients. When stress hormones are lowered through relaxation, healing is enhanced and optimized.

It is quite amazing the impact music has on our mood, emotions and brain function. The beauty of stress relief music is that it is an easy, enjoyable way to relax and unwind. You can listen to relaxing music just about anywhere. It is a wonderful tool for easing stress and promoting healing.

Caroline Selfe has been a passionate seeker of natural and holistic stress relief methods for the past 25 years.
