Back then the government could tell the people just about anything they wanted and get away with it without much questioning.

i found some old money that my grandfather gave to my dad a while back, and im trying to figure out 1) what country they’re from and 2) what they’re worth now, if anything.
so here:
he has a big pile of german marks, all from 1944, mostly 100 dollar bills
then one that says BANQUE D’ETAT DU MAROC CINQ FRANCS 1941 it has a 5 on it (morocco maybe?)
another BANCA D’ITALIA LIRE CINQVANTA 50 LIRE 1942 (Italy probably)
and then some that are BANQUE DE L’ALGERIE VINGT FRANCS 1926 with a 20 on it (french algeria maybe?)

so if you have any idea how much any of these are worth or what country there even from or a site i can find out, please give it to me! im confused haha thanks!

2) nothing (currency does not exist anymore, and no value for ancient notes in Morocco)

I was looking at YouTube today and noticed how Big Bang, Super Junior, and SNSD had videos coming up on the front page. Since I’m considering trying out for S.M. Entertainment but would much rather stay in the States, I decided to ask some of the community of Yahoo!Answers what they thought about the possibility of Asian pop stars in the American music industry. Or if they felt that Asians are still too nerdy and unpopular to be pop stars. All answers are welcome. Thanks.

Personally I think some Kpop stars would do all right, but their music style doesn’t exactly fit America’s top music styles. Some of the Kpop songs are amazingly catchy and appealing to most people, but they’d have to sing in English. If they were fluent, then maybe.

Um, I think Orton would be okay.
As for DiBiase, maybe, but it would be a longer time before you saw him on RAW (or any other show)

Salam, egyptian brothers & sisters. i’m from Morocco.

I always watch “al 3ashira masa’an” “90 da9i9a” & “al hayat al yoom”
& i keep wondering why is Egypte continiously in total trouble…
now i might be wrong of course, & thats why i’m asking.
I confess that those TV shows are really great, but that’s how the picture looks for me, or let’s say thats how they make it look.
I also know that they show good things too, for example, i liked that report about the desert of Sina in “al3ashira masa’an” on the memorial day. (i think it was the memorial) & of course i feel proud of it, first as a Muslim, & then as an Arabian.

now what i’m asking is:
* do you support those shows because you want the whole world (or the arab wotlds at least) to know what’s going on inside your homeland.

or

* you think that’s exagerating, & jeopardizes the picture of the country in the eyes of people, especially those who don’t know anything about Egypt. (u know, there are some people ignorant & isolated from the outside world, like most of the Americans)

Note: our Morocco is not a paradise either, we have the same things like everyday, its just that our popular satellite channels don’t make that big deal of it, for one good reason : we don’t have popular satellite channels *dammit* !!

I don’t know the TV shows you are talking about, but I wouldn’t judge a whole country on their TV shows. I’m not that judgmental, but it looks like you are. It makes me sad that you call us Americans ignorant & isolated. Our neighborhood is filled with people from all over the world, & we get along beautifully. Our church helps people from all nations. I would really like to know why you don’t like us. I’d like to share something with you. “The consequences of the past are always with us, & half the hostilities tearing the world apart could be resolved today were we to allow the forgiveness of sins to alter these consequences. I feel as if the purpose of the news is to provide us with information. But as I analyze the news, the stories that they are showing are not what they used to be. For example the news would consist mostly of war updates, or state what is going on. News today is more random stories that gets their station more viewers. Am I the only one who sees it that way?

I thought lynch was the running back, rhodes was back up. How’s that gonna make the bills go 0 and 16? With T.O. in the lineup bills will be in the play offs for sure.

Well i know for a fact they will break up because Ted Dibiase is doing that movie Marine 2 so they will have him turn face for the fans and Orton will want to go solo and get the title again
