Online Dating Research for professionals
As a full-time dating and relationship consultant, it is VITAL to be able to provide acurate information for my readers and the dating industry as a whole. To achieve the facts below I PERSONALLY joined EACH site to research various options they provided for members. Having joined these sites, and with background research through various internet research my conclusion is ( which of course is based soley on my research) the reality of meeting such professionals on these sites is HIGHLY UNLIKELY..
Lets take one of the most well known ones first -
they have in total 49,000 members, ok, but ONLY 16,000 are male, yes 16,000 girls. Of those males, 30% will either be in LTR or married. Of the remaining fairly genuine one’s, a high proportion are seeking very young women OR females who are happy with brief encounters. And the site is FULL of guys who are NOT as the site would suggest, educated, successful, cultured, affluent, there are lots who are manual workers standing proudly in front of his sports car thinking this is going to impress, or half naked torsos without heads. So yes, there may be one or two guys ( female section is MUCH better, but always is with online dating) that may FIT what the site is selling, but you will have spend lots of time trawling through, and deleting the rather tacky messages received from the players.
* Further add the facts of online dating – Of ALL males online 30% are married, and that is just the ones who were willing to divulge this anonymously.
Arrrrrrrghhhh!! Really disliked it. I too have a psychology degree so I was looking forward to taking the psychometric test. Generally it has been designed for those who are pretty conventional in personality type. The questions are very restrictive IF none of the situations apply to your single lifestyle, so you end up being FITTED into their boxed stereotypical images, as you have to pick ONE of the answers to continue. There is NO choice for the single person who wants a committed relationship, but doesn’t want to live 24/7 together or walk down the aisle. Single people for many reasons do NOT live as they did 50 years ago, and this test appears to slot you into that, regardless. I also found the question, containing the words Lonely Heart, extremely out-dated belonging to the pre-war era, when single people looking for partners, were categorised in this way. I’t's not only rather dated but extremely patronising to educated people. Having managed to complete this test, once through to site, you get lists of people that are matched by your answers from the test, Taking into consideration I couldn’t actually GIVE accurate answers, only what the test thought I should be choosing, I ended up I’m sure with other people ALL fitting into these inacurate round holes/square pegs, as I’m sure I was not the only one to find NO options which apllied to what I was looking for. As for BLURRED images so you cannot SEE IF the person would resemble something that you would be mildly attracted is beyond me. YES if you take out membership, ranging from £39 per month right up to over £100 a year, you could see the images. Now I’m very selective, and there would NO way I would pay £39 to view an image of someone who has just winked at me, that is forcing people to part with money to view an image, NOT read emails, but view an image. If they made it so the images could be viewed without payment, and PAY to read emails etc, then that would be at least ONE-Plus for PARSHIP. However, even on this site I didn’t feel the choice of professional men were really any better or higher than any online dating site, which because they are ALL free to sign up I’m afraid regardless of title, or what they say they sell, there is an awful lot of people you would want to avoid.
another site full of MEN who are basically looking for the much younger female between 18-35 even IF he’s over 55, so any females thinking that being attractive, solvent, educated, successful, the target sector supposedly for a site for the upper end of the single market, she won’t even get searched for unless she’s under 35. The problems with these Sugardaddy and Wealty Men sites, they actually attract lots of guys who have money but few scruples, as in a lot will be married, and all they want is some ‘ FUN ‘ which basically means casual sex. They not all handome, fit, attractive guys, but I guess if a woman is looking for a gold lined purse, and not a life time partner, she may just find herself ‘ Gold Daddy! A high USA market.

I do however like this site, yes it’s smaller, but that is something which I found very appealing, and having joined to do my research, I can confidently report, that YES the people who join this site can definitely string a sentence together, high-proportion of University to post graduate members. Nice profiles, well written, not all based around red wine and open log fires and the men do seem KEEN to find a genuine relationship, opposed to some quick physical fling. Thumbs Up for Love and Friends!!
