The Living Museum of Amsterdam

There are so many cities in the Netherlands, but perhaps the most amazing is Amsterdam. As far as the eye could see, the city’s old buildings scattered or other monuments preserved nicely despite its function may vary. At least there are 8000 monuments preserved by the government of Amsterdam. No wonder the city with thousands of these monument dubbed “The Living Museum”

Amsterdam government has special policies that protect all the smells of monuments, not just an old building but including the Amsterdam area, the scenery, canals, and the structure of the city itself.

All buildings can serve anything to be treated in accordance with regulations made, either by local or central government. So do not be surprised if you see the old buildings there that serves not only as a museum but also as a hotel, shops, apartments, schools, offices, restaurants, or places of entertainment such as bars, cafes, and even where prostistusi.

There are about 20,000 buildings in over 800 hectares of land which contributed to the history of this downtown. One third of the building consists among others of the warehouse buildings, churches, palaces built before the year 1850. A total of 6700 buildings within the category of national monuments, the historic buildings are now preserved by the central government. There’s 290 buildings and other monuments are maintained by the government’s 1160 Amsterdam while other buildings went up in that category.

Which must be proud that Amsterdam became one of the cities that have significant historic buildings that have not even touched the hands of ignorant or even torn down. Preservation of old buildings and the environment could produces thousands of travelers who come to town for a tour of history.

Since the government give so much attention to its monument, on the legacy of the past, members of the board of Amsterdam until the exchange of make an ideas to change a stone from Dam Square (de Dam) to eight cities in the world. They also have a special council members who take care of the problem of monuments and public spaces, namely Guido Frankfurther.

This project with lead by Frankfurther Guido could gather nine people in the field Wittenburger (Wittenburgerplein), Amsterdam. They inaugurated the movement of stone projects from eight cities in the world, named Moving the World.

The ideas to unite the blocks of stone roads in the page field from eight cities in the world comes from two arts workers, Fenna Swart (Netherlands) and Joseph Scorselo (United States). Stone to be moved is the stone used to decorate the field in the cities of the world. Eight selected cities are cities that have historical connections with Amsterdam,such the Casablanca, Ankara, Athens, Cairo, Oslo, Copenhagen, Antwerp, and Jakarta.

Finally, shipping and delivery of the stone blocks used so the project was actually sanctioned art Amsterdam council members, especially those dealing with public spaces and monuments. Eight directions chosen as a symbol of multicultural Amsterdam. It also describes the relationship that has particular Amsterdam and the Netherlands are generally in the city selected countries.

These days, it is becoming increasingly fashionable to buy property in Morocco. Morocco has a lot to offer in terms of property sale in areas such as Mediterrania Saidia , Asilah , Tangiers , Marrakech , Tetouan and Agadir

But because of the desirability of property for sale in Morocco an investor should not be deterred from securing their ideal piece of real estate just because purchasing it can take many months and a great deal of paperwork because there are many agencies that can help you do everything for you while you sit back and relax.

The key to successfully navigating the real estate purchase process in Morocco is seeking the assistance of a recommended real estate agent or simsaar. These people have a local working knowledge of the property market in the particular part of Morocco in which they work and they are often able to shield the buyer from paying over the market price by understanding the true value of properties for sale. There are quite a few, but Qudoo.com is one of the best you can get to ensure a smooth and beneficial deal.

As with many emerging markets property investors who broadcast the fact that they are in the market for real estate will often find that the places they’re offered for sale suddenly go up in price – with the help of a good simsaar the foreign buyer will pay the same as a local buyer in Morocco. Once an ideal property has been found it’s usual to make an offer to buy and to negotiate on the asking price. Once an offer has been accepted a deposit of around 10% can be paid. The deposit or arbon should secure the property and remove it from the market place. But unfortunately the reality is that it’s wise to close the sale at the time the price is agreed upon otherwise if the vendor is offered more money before the sale is closed they may well take it and return the investor’s deposit to them.

There is one small problem with this approach – by officially closing the sale the taxes should be due within 30 days. BUT if you pay the taxes the sale really is closed and the buyer can refuse to move out which in the worst case scenario results in a five year legal battle to have them evicted. So what most buyers do is hold back on paying the taxes, incur a small fine but save themselves the trouble of having deeds transferred into their name and running the risk of having sitting tenants!

This may sound confusing but with the help of a decent lawyer all of this is transparent to the property purchaser. Those buying brand new or off plan property in Morocco of course avoid all of these issues.

An investor looking at Morocco Property should budget an additional 7 or 8% on top of the purchase price for fees and taxes. As stated the real estate agent will charge about 2.5%, the notaire or public notary will charge 1% to sort out title deeds on older properties – a process that can take up to 2 years after the sale has completed but which will result in the property being worth more in the long run as all subsequent buyers will avoid having to repeat the process – and finally there’s also a small amount of tax on the purchase price on Investment Property Morocco which pays for itself when you consider the benefits of living in a charming and culturally rich country that has a lot to offer in terms of value for money and a peaceful living.

LCD Plasma Television Appear Like Works of Art Hanging in your Living Room

If you’ve been shopping around for a television set in the recent past, chances are that you’ve been astounded by the wide array of television sets available. I’m not referring to the number of manufacturers. Apart from the brand names most of us have grown up with, most state of the art television sets today come from the Asian region, from companies in China, Korea and Japan. What I am referring to however, is the new technologies that are available. If on the one hand there are still cathode ray tube conventional televisions, on the other hand, there are innovative display systems like liquid crystal display televisions and even what is known as plasma televisions.

In the tried and tested conventional televisions that most of us have grown up with, the technology used is known as the cathode ray tube technology. A cathode gun fires electrons, which, when charged and excited, tend to form an image on a glass screen. These images form as pixels in the three basic colors, which when combined can produce millions of colors. While the technology itself has been fine tuned and developed through the ages to give us great television monitors, there are certain limitations to what the conventional cathode ray tube television can do.

For one thing, being built of glass, the screen of the cathode ray tube or conventional television has a size limitation. Most conventional televisions which use the cathode ray tube technology are less than 42 inches in size. This size is not the height or width of the television, but the diagonal distance between one end and the other. So, the biggest conventional television you can have is around 42 inches. Conventional televisions are bulky, restricted in image size and confined to the limitations of the box they are built in. This makes them big, and in some cases impossible to fit into your living room.

This is where newer display technologies have resulted in better, modern televisions like the plasma television. In a plasma television, the older cathode ray tube technology is left behind in favor of an atomic technology. Our ability to manipulate and control the behavior of atomic particles has also enables us to enhance our viewing experience. This is the technology that a plasma television uses. A plasma, is a gas that contains freely flowing ions and electrons. When an electric charge is passed through this plasma, photons are released, which then provide illumination. The rest of the technology in plasma televisions is concentrated on using this illumination to create the three primary colors and to display them as images. Just as the cathode ray tube televisions use different intensities of particles to produce differing colors, the plasma television also varies the intensity of the illumination to produce color changes. Which is why, while using a plasma television, more numbers of colors can be seen.

The plasma television removes or negates most of the drawbacks of the conventional television. For one thing, size is no longer a restriction, as the bulky cathode ray tube has been done away with. For another, bulky boxes are not required and the plasma television can be as thin as you could have imagined it. Most plasma televisions nowadays appear more or less like works of art hanging in your living room. So adopt the plasma television today and see how innovations in display have enhanced the quality of our entertainment!

For the first tip- Finish your plate.

Sounds nice doesn’t it, but it’s not. In the past when you were a wee child and had a picky appetite. When your parents use to say finish everything on your place? It trains one to eat everything and that is harsh because it teaches us to eat everything and when we grow up we still eat the things we don’t like or overeat. (Did you hate carrots when you were a kid? I did)

Now for the sound tip- Tips to not overeat (but greens are still good for you.)

First thing fist remember to eat vegetable, it is good for the body and drink pure water, cut down on sodas and sugary juices. Also if you don’t want to finish portions your plate you don’t have too.

Getting a smaller plate with smaller of food, this will help not to over eat and give your body time to see if your really full or you are really ready for seconds.

Water, drink at least a glass of water before you eat that will help you feel full quicker and helps the body digest, its true! I drink two glasses of warm or cool not cold water in the morning and its helps with my digest systems. Water also helps you wake up and get ready for the day better then coffee.  

Relax and eat slowly without any distractions. Talking fine in fact talking make you eat slower and you can eat less by getting full faster because the body can tell if you had enough.

Eat lean meat, eating lean meat is easier on the body to digest and have less fat and calories. This helps to control eating too much of fatty meats. If you don’t eat meat make sure you are getting enough protein.

For the last tip- Eating out.

Is the hardest and the most tempting. You’re at work or doing errors and there is so many fast food full of fat and tons of sugar and salt just around the corner… Okay no one can always resist (I can’t) Still the bad news is that a cheeseburger in one meal can ruin your diet for that day. Taking a water bottle and a fat free snack will do. At Restaurants eat half of your food and if you order a small plate already then just avoid the chips, bread, and crackers that they may serve in the beginning.
