Fox is based in Australia working as a cable and satellite sports news channel. This channel is owned by Premier Media Group and is the sister channel of Fox Sports.

Rumors recently originated that cricket had been removed from the list of proposed sports and events of the 2014 Asian games. The reason for these rumors has been said to be the decision of the Olympic Committee of Asia to limit the number of sporting events in the Asian games to a maximum of 35. However, these fears proved out to be false as the OCA recently confirmed the inclusion of cricket in the list of sporting events for the Asian games 2014. For the time being cricket and karate have been confirmed as two out of the seven non Olympic events in these games while the other five are still to be decided. However, South Korean organizers are said to not be in support of this decision.

Yesterday the equipment needed to create two more audio recording kits at Lafayette arrived. And, today I assembled the kits by punching out the foam core of the case to make room for all of the equipment. These kits, along with two others just like them, will be made available through the circulation desk at Skillman Library where they will be used to record interviews, by students for reciting poetry for self evaluation, or for creating podcasts. The kits consist of a Samson H2 Handy Recorder, a 4GB Kingston class 4 SD card, a tabletop 3-foot base, a power adapter, two rechargeable AA batteries, an Acoustica lapel mic, a mic stand, and a USB cable. The equipment resides safely inside a Vanguard case.
