Way down deep in the middle of the Congo,
A hippo took an apricot, a guava and a mango.
He stuck it with the others, and he danced a dainty tango.
The rhino said, “I know, we’ll call it Um Bongo”
Um Bongo, Um Bongo, They drink it in the Congo.
The python picked the passion fruit, the marmoset the mandarin.
The parrot painted packets, that the whole caboodle landed in.
So when it comes to sun and fun and goodness in the jungle,
They all prefer the sunny funny one they call Um Bongo!?

The Bongo Bongo Bongo song was created in 1947. The most popular version,
was the 1948 version sung by the Andrews Sisters. [Look It up on YouTube: –
“Andrews Sisters & Danny Kaye – Civilization (Bongo Bongo Bongo) 1948.”]

This Song is about an “imaginary person” that lives in the “Congo”.
[“Congo” because “Congo” rime with “Bongo”.]This “person” explain why he
don’t want to live in the “civilisation”. Civilised people work all year so
that they can go on holiday. And what do they do when they go on holiday?
They swim and catch fish. And he (this “person”) is doing that every day
already… His way of living seems to be idyllic. But is it sustainable?
The answer is no. So it seems as if this person had unrealistic
expirations. Hence the term: – “Living in Bongo Bongo Land.”

This song. Bongo Bongo Bongo, also known as “Civilization” was written by
Bob Hilliard and Carl Sigman for the Broadway musical revue “Angel In The
Wings.” The show ran 308 performances from Dec-11-47 to Sep-04-48 and
earned Tony awards for Paul & Grace Hartman as Best Actor and Best Actress
in a Musical. This song was an international hit. People of Mr Bloom’s
generation (Mr Bloom is 64 years old) knew this song very well. And as I
have already stated. they used the term, “Bongo Bongo Land” to mean: –
    “Having unrealistic expatiations”.

If what I say is a lie, this song does not exist. But clearly this song
exist. This song had indeed nothing to do with racism. People can look this
song up for themselves to determine if I lie or not.

[If you want to beat the dog, you can always find a stick.]?

until Krishnan can drop the word racist into the interview. I don’t like
UKIP in fact I’m a socialist but this interview was ridiculous.?

  • Daxcheese555  says:

What a horrible biased interview! He says he is not personally offended but
its either that or he’s being paid to act like a tool and deface Godfrey
Bloom. I’m not sure if Bloom is a very sensible person, but this is just
wrong and should be called out for what it is; a pre-planned attempt by the
    media elite to discredit UKIP!?

  • mattcast44  says:

Godfrey Bloom behaves exactly like any other politician in this clip – he
refuses to answer the questions and issues a non apology. We all know that
the term he used has racist connotations, and I hardly think that reference
to an obscure 1940s changes that, attitudes have moved on since then. Also,
I think he lied when he said that he couldn’t remember what he meant and
also when he claimed to have received ‘thousands of texts’ of support.?

  • Wickie the Vikking  says:

What a nonsens intervieuw.. Drive the the man in a corner and say you are
hit by words of choice. Lets disregard the more important issues .. “where
does that money go”.. and chat about correct language to be used.
Yes Bloom used hard speak to wake you al up.. or … do you say
    “I can’t be bothered with it.” ?
    ?

  • 15hl  says:

Racist idiot. Krishnan wipes the floor with him.?

  • zander469  says:

TYpical fucking hack, Wants to talk about a word and not the fact that the
country is wasting millions a year in over seas “aid”. He doesn’t even
realise how stupid he sounds. What a twat!?
