The Nokia 5530 Xpress Music not only has a touch screen but is the music playback oriented phone as well. Even though this is not the only touch screen music playback phone, it is very unique in functions and features, which make the 5530 Xpress Music a decent mobile phone.
The XpressMusic is not the only touch screen phone out there nor is it the only music playback oriented phone. Neither is it the only touch screen music playback phone. But despite not being unique in its functions and features, the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is still a decent mobile phone. Users who expect a lot of functionality from a single device might want to consider looking elsewhere as the XpressMusic fails to match to the better specs and capabilities of other mobile phones. Those who are satisfied with a basic phone that looks neat, plays music, has a pretty decent camera and WiFi capabilities might want to read a little more.
All about the Simple Things
Though it is a simple mobile device, the XpressMusic is still a decent phone to have around. One of the first things users will notice is the streamlined contacts quick search capabilities that allows you to set up to twenty contacts as hot links and allows you various features such as being able to track your conversations with them. The main menu is easy to understand and use. There are help functions for various functions too. Setting your own personalized customizations on this phone is also easy to do as well. If you have never used a Nokia phone before, learning it takes a little more than a couple of minutes. Quite a convenient phone actually.
The drop down media player and hotkeys are easy to access as well. Setting up your media for playback is simple and there are no complicated settings to go through. Users might be disappointed at the lack of decent video formats compatible for play on this phone, but the music formats are more than enough ranging from Midi files to MP3s. The play list settings are also simple, of course, you will find the usual options there such as repeat and shuffle settings and custom play lists and song orders.
A Good Nokia Phone
The camera has 3.2 mega pixels; this is a pretty decent camera, but those who want more camera options are looking at the wrong phone. Still, this camera has LED flash and video capture options making it pretty useful when no other devices are available. Browsing files is made easy with its compatibility with computers and standardized file formats. You can use up to a 16 GB SD card with this phone giving you a wide library range as well. It may be nothing out of the ordinary, but at the very least, this is a decent phone to own.
