Pretty in Pink

A few nice portrait lens images I found:

Pretty in Pink

Recently bough m4/3 Olympus 45mm F1.8 Portrait Lens. Still learning the ropes. Took it out for testing in downtown Jax when the Art Walk was going on.

I was just looking around and checking the available bokeh. She was standing on side and her pink hair got my attention. Just the dash of color I would have needed for my first Bokeh Portrait. So I went ahead and asked her if I could take her picture. I asked her to stand on side so that I could get the bokeh in the frame. Funnily there was someone standing behind me looking @ my camera display and as I was manually focusing, he said..that’s it man..take the picture and so I did as I thought the same as well. She told me she was a model and has a profile on model mayhem. i should have talked a bit more to her and asked her if she wanted to do some more portraits some other time but I didn’t want to freak any one out on the street :) .

Unfortunately some of my shots turned out not to be sharp enough so I need to zoom in and make sure the focus was right which was not the case here. Anyways I still like this shot.

40mm f1.4 Nokton lens attached using the VM mount adaptor.
This is with the lens hood attached.
This should make a nice low light portrait lens.
